About Me
My name is Karen Weinberg, and I am a professional coach.
I place leaders on a path to success by identifying critical strengths, highlighting areas of opportunity, and shining a light on derailing behaviors that many don’t realize exist! The only way to “get unstuck” is to change your behavior and move forward. In other words, be willing to roll up your sleeves and have the courage to examine yourself and be open to learning and growth.
Experience
Since 2019, my work has centered primarily on coaching executives and on facilitating leadership development programs for a wide range of clientele. I have coached executives in areas such as emotional intelligence, executive presence, decision making, and career trajectory. I have partnered with senior leaders to create and execute learning and development strategies that accelerate job proficiency, performance and productivity of employees across global organizations. I have facilitated learning programs, both in the classroom and virtually, and worked one on one with individuals to create their development plans and achieve their goals.
The first part of my career was focused on building my business acumen. I spent three years in public accounting roles and earned my CPA certification in the state of New York. I then spent seven years working in the music and banking industries in finance roles, and I earned my MBA from Fordham University. During this time, I gained a solid understanding of how to build, analyze, and interpret the financial statements of the companies I worked for, and any company!
Ever the lifelong learner, I continue to build and hone my skills. I completed my Advanced Certified Personal and Executive Coach (ACPEC) certification at the College for Executive Coaching in 2020, and I hold the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). I am certified in various assessment tools, including the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-i 2.0) and EQ 360 Multi-Rater Assessment (EQ 360), the Hogan Assessment Suite, the Talentx7 tool, Everything DiSC, Influence Style Indicator (ISI), Change Style Indicator and Change Navigator (CSN and CN), Workplace Big Five, and FIRO.
